Neurorehabilitation Program
The Neurorehabilitation Clinic provides evaluation and treatment for patients with all types of neurological injuries or illnesses, including stroke, traumatic brain injury and other disabling neurological disorders. Evaluation includes assessment of the patient's cognitive, language, and physical deficits and the impact this has upon their functional status. The focus of treatment is medical management and referral for therapy services to improve physical and behavioral function and enable patients to reach their maximal level of independence. This process entails collaboration with neuropsychologists, physical, occupational, and speech therapists. The goal of treatment is to enable patients to reach their maximal level of independence and improve quality of life.
